The method

A proprietary assessment built from how you actually play.

Hidden Edge does not ask you to describe yourself. It reads behavioural signals from short games and judgement calls, then matches the shape of those signals to a personal profile, archetype and report.

01Number Pulse

Numerical instinct

Reads: Speeded number decisions

How quickly numerical relationships settle into a decision when the clock is running.

02Word Sense

Verbal instinct

Reads: Meaning, categories and relationships

How quickly you catch the connection between words without relying on trivia or vocabulary flexing.

03Signal in Noise

Sustained focus

Reads: Attention under repetition

How well your accuracy holds when the screen is busy and repetition starts to bite.

04Memory Stack

Working memory

Reads: Live sequence handling

How much sequence and state you can hold live at once, plus how you recover after a miss.

05Pattern Hunter

Abstract reasoning

Reads: Hidden-rule detection

How quickly you infer the rule behind limited examples and turn ambiguity into structure.

06Risk Window

Risk judgement

Reads: Uncertainty and downside

How you price uncertainty when reward and downside move together, not just whether you are bold.

07Arrows

Adaptability

Reads: Rule switching

How cleanly you drop one rule and adopt another when the instructions change mid-flow.

08Solo Grind

Solo focus

Reads: Precision over repetition

How your accuracy behaves when novelty wears off and small improvements are the whole game.

09Eyes

Emotional insight

Reads: Subtle social cues

How quickly you read emotion from limited information and adjust to what another person may be feeling.

How your profile is built

Every round creates signals: pace, accuracy, consistency, risk, recovery, adaptability and decision tendency. Hidden Edge combines them into nine trait scores, then matches the overall shape of your profile rather than over-weighting one lucky round.

The same play produces the same profile. Your result is not guessed from a questionnaire and it is not random; it is computed from what you actually did.

An honest note on the limits

Hidden Edge is a proprietary self-discovery assessment for reflection and entertainment. It is not a clinical, educational or hiring assessment, and a single 12-minute session can only ever be a snapshot. Treat the result as a sharp mirror to think with, not a verdict.
